Today is World Kidney Day! Even though mine aren't the best kidneys in the world, they still get a day to celebrate. They're still functioning a little bit. :)
I'm getting used to my new clinic, although I miss my old one. The people that work there are nice and very competent. However, my fellow patients are either very sick/old, visitors, or sleep the entire time. I'll probably get a lot of reading done. I read half of a book yesterday. Dialysis is pretty boring when you don't have anyone to entertain you.
Neat. It's International Women's Day, too. Your kidneys get a hug and you do, too. :)
